The Friends of the Brooks Memorial Library are dedicated to supporting high quality library programs and services that reflect our patrons’ interests and needs, and promote a vibrant library presence in our community.
Mission of the Friends of Brooks Memorial Library
The mission of the Friends is to support the Brooks Library through advocacy, public relations, and fundraising in order to provide the highest quality library services to the community.
The Friends is an independent non-profit 501(c)(3) entity. Fundraising events held by the Friends include book sales, concerts, contests, raffles, auctions, and other special events.

Join us and become a Friend of the Library!
The Friends support programming in the Children's Room, from guest performers to craft projects and Lego Palooza!
The Friends help with technology purchases: computers (including an iMac), iPads, Kindles, and database subscriptions.
The Friends hold book sales periodically to raise funds for library equipment and programs.
