Friends of Brooks Memorial Library

The Friends of Brooks Memorial Library depend on donations of all kinds.

Donate Money

The Friends hold fundraising events throughout the year -- book sales, concerts, raffles, etc. In addition, we're happy to accept donations at any time, and a donation gives you automatic membership in the Friends (unless you request otherwise).

Our online donation form is on the Brooks Memorial Library website.

Read our 2020 Annual Appeal letter to find out what kinds of services and equipment your donations support!

Donate Books

Book sales enable the Friends to generate funds in support of library programs and services, such as lifelong learning programs, children’s activities, and digital resources. There are at least two sales each year, and the Friends accept book donations throughout the year. Please see the Donation Guidelines if you would like to donate.

The Friends' Amazon page is a place to purchase rare, beautiful, and specialized books gleaned from book sale donations. Check it out!

Donate Time - Volunteer!

Want to be an active member of the Friends of Brooks Memorial Library? We need volunteers to help with set-up/clean-up for our First Wednesdays programs and to help with our book sales and other Friends activities. We'd love to have someone volunteer to photograph Friends events.

Drop a note to to let us know you'd like to help.

If you're more interested in volunteering with the library staff, please ask for the Volunteer Coordinator at the circulation desk, or pick up a Volunteer Brochure.
